Why I admire Bill Turner
Bill has given me extremely useful information, advice, and tools (especially listsofbests). Many thanks, especially for helping me befriend my mac. Things like these are what social software is meant to do! And we’ll be fellow Pittsburghers before long.
How I met george
I worked up the nerve to say Hi to George while waiting for the elevator at the hotel during SXSW. I think George was the first person to “friend” me on the very first (photo chat) incarnation of Flickr, and helped answer questions way back when. Amazing how far along Flickr has come since then.
How I met mikemonteiro
It was one of the last nights at SXSW this year, and I met him briefly at the Odeo/Consumating/Adaptive Path party. I highly doubt he remembers me, but he was super nice and gave me a nifty, and wooden!, free drink token which I didn’t end up using.

Well, now that Andy is going to be a co-worker of mine, that just adds to the reasons I’d like to meet him. I’d like to thank him for upcoming and for making sure that things like Danger Mouse and The Kleptones are heard by many.
Oh yeah, plus he had the good taste to also name his son Eliot. :)
